Toolkit

National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI)
Office of Science Policy, Engagement, Education, and Communications (OSPEEC)

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) needed a way to strengthen how their staff and funded study teams engage with external organizations and communities. Through collaboration with Fors Marsh and OSPEEC, we developed a toolkit of visually cohesive, easy-to-use one-pagers designed to empower staff with clear guidance, best practices, and confidence in their engagement work.

Each resource was built to stand alone or function as part of a unified toolkit, maintaining consistency with NHLBI’s brand while supporting staff in building meaningful, informed connections that advance their mission.

Collaborating with Art Director Cody Bartz and Creative Lead Angela Devlin, I helped transform dense, research-heavy content into a series of visually engaging one-pagers. Together, we developed a cohesive design system that balanced clarity, consistency, and visual impact. Making complex information both approachable and attention-grabbing.
